Entry: Lil Russ is going to get kicked out... Tuesday, April 19, 2005

of daycare...
He has been having problems at daycare for a little over a month.  He has been fighting with the other kids and teachers.  I just don't know what else to do.  He does not act like this at home.  He listens to me and his daddy.  He is fine with his sister, He throws no tantrums.  He is just great at home and on the weekends.  He goes to bed early, he does not even fight us to go to bed!
But at school he is total opposite.
We have taken his toys away when we get a bad report and explain to him why he is being punished.  I talk to him when I drop him off.  I tell him he needs to be good, no fighting.  And he says OK mommy.  I don't know what else to do!  I feel like I am at the end of my rope.  The daycare director is going to call me today at work.  I am guessing to discuss this matter.  Ugh I just know he is going to get kicked out or suspended or something...I am going to be on pins and needles until I find out...I need good vibes and prayers please!!

hey..have you tried asking the teacher? Maybe lil Russ did something wrong, and he got punished. Maybe the punishement was abit too tough or humiliating? And that caused his classmates to make fun of him or so? maybe tt's why he's getting into fights?
just a thought..Wish you good luck and lots of prayers..

I'm terribly sorry to hear that. As far as I can remember you've always described li'l Russ as a good kid, maybe he's acting like that due to the environment in day care? due to other children? maybe you need to ask him why does that? like level with him? or make him feel like a grown up (not too grown up) and discuss the matter?

I'm praying for you sweetie, lots of hugs...hang on in there.... there's a silver lining after every storm, be strong! your amazon sis are with you all the way;)
